Schools are our most important asset in today’s society. They are the starting and ending point of learning for children. When you think about building schools for the future what exactly comes to mind? Do you think about your future nations leaders? How about future doctors, nurses, business owners, law enforcement, and scientists? It is important to want to play a role in building schools for the future. Because by building schools for the future you are in turn building our future.
Building Schools for the Future, also known as BSF was the UK Governments previous secondary school initiative. They were overseen by the Partnerships for Schools, which in part consists of the Department for Education, and Department for Children. Unfortunately on July 5th, 2010, the Secretary of State for the Education sector made an announcement that the program was to be shut down. This meant that the 715 schools ready to be built in the near future would have to be halted. The rest underway would be reviewed on a case by case basis. More recently the Building Schools for the Future program has been looked into about readjusting the budget and bringing the program back into action.
Building Schools for the Future is a way to show you care about the future and you want the very best. When you participate in schools you are helping to shape the future, your future. Children need the very best education possible to thrive and grow. By building schools for the future that is possible. With the construction of more schools, this will create more jobs for teachers, and more space for students to learn. This will allow more of a one on one basis with educational instructors. In turn that time will help to shape their learning abilities and give them the very best education possible.
